Sporthorse Mares

Non-Cleveland mares who cross well with Cleveland Bay blood are crucial to the long-term success of our breed. These super athletic horses absolutely should be competing and earning accolades in a variety of disciplines that will bring awareness to the Cleveland Bay breed. We’ve been very selective in what we’ve brought into our herd in this area. Temperament, movement, stamina, athleticism, pedigree… these all matter and are prioritized to varying degrees in each mare.

At the moment, we have:

• A Charming Pose (aka Posey). This TB has produced four fantastic CB sporthorses for our program as well as carried an Embryo Transfer pure foal, Bellavista Her Royal Highness)

• Valentine. She is a Premium Holsteiner/Oldenburg sired by Riverman. Valentine has produced PHENOMENAL sporthorse babies (4 CB/WB foals with us).

• Bellavista Banter. Cimarron x Seeyouinmydreams - a homebred warmblood who has produced 3 CB/WB foals including our own Bellavista Gossamer.

• Bellavista Gossamer is a CB sporthorse (50% CB, Foxhollow Navigator x Bellavista Banter) that we intended to retain for competition, but which is carrying a 3/4 CB foal as she continues to mature.
