Gaylord Ivanhoe

Gaylord Ivanhoe is a pure Cleveland Bay stallion foaled in 2016 as a part of Gaylord Cleveland Bays program in Berryville, Virginia.  Ivan measures 16.2 1/2hh and has over 9.25" of bone at his stallion inspection in October 2018.  Ivan is bay with a small white star/mark.  Ivan is registered with the Cleveland Bay Horse Society and was awarded a license for breeding in October 2018.  2019 will be Ivan’s first breeding season. His studbook number is 2828.

Jason acquired Ivan as a two-year old in summer 2018. Ivan's sire is Idlehour Ramblers Richard Lionheart (b. X). Ivan's dam is Belladonna Xtravagance (b. X).

Gaylord Ivanhoe has been handled regularly and is learning to lunge under tack in preparation for being broken to ride. Ivan's strengths are an even temperament, a plethora of substance and bone, and lovely movement - quite warmbloody.

Ivan is available for breeding pure, part-bred, and non-Cleveland mares at Bella Vista's discretion. Ivan will be taught to breed both AI and live cover in 2019, and will have semen frozen and stored to ensure his genes could influence the breed for years to come.  While some breeding terms are negotiable, ALL progeny of Bellavista stallions are required to be registered with CBHS.
